So,
so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field
from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade
your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk-on part in the war
for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish,
how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl
Year after year
Running over the same old ground, what have we found?
The same old fears,
wish you were here
It comes as no surprise at all to see that Catherine Lumby is one of the speakers at this event.
She was one of the main academics arguing against media effects. She was adamant that the media had no influence on the audience at all.
I did and still totally disagree with her.
Calls me a Jew hater and turns off replies. Puny man.
No hatred for Jews, just historical facts. Always with the insults.
And I didn't say Herod built the second temple. But you're right - he built a third temple over the second. The one God didn't bless. No shekinah glory there.

Latest on Heidi Levine: broken rib, four broken vertebrae, her finger was nearly cut off, multiple potential stabbing wounds. Surgery first thing in the morning.
The two most vulnerable groups in society - children and the elderly have been farmed out to profit-making private enterprise to be cared for. And we all have to work like dogs to pay for it.
It's a deliberate ploy to destroy us, our social structure.
Now ask who would do that?
Hollywood started selling us a lie about the USA with John Ford's WWII films. They've been doing it ever since.
There are no heroes.
This is the true America.

imagine being so universally reviled that you have to manipulate textbooks, churn out Hollywood productions to brainwash the masses, buy up the airwaves and social media platforms, and alter algorithms to limit the proliferation of the truth and put up smoke screens where you can't stop information.
Then, you weaponize antisemitism to silence decent people, you push to pass laws that punish criticism of you, and you install AI audio surveillance in the tent classrooms of children whose lives you've destroyed in order to prevent your victims from speaking ill of you.
You can have more money than God, space lasers and nukes, booby trapped pagers, and endless blackmail material on leaders, but you can't buy humanity. You can't make the world love you, or even tolerate you. You can't make people unsee or unknow. You can't make demons likable.
The world sees you at last, understands how wicked you've always been, and hates you immeasurably. That isn't going away, and you will feel the sting of that hatred more and more.
I hope it hurts.

This seems to be the overwhelming, near-universal reaction of everyone with active firing neurons.
Productivity is the new buzzword.
Another way of putting it: You slaves aren't rowing hard enough. Beat the drum faster.
Merz argues that Germans must work more and become more productive if Germany is to compete with China.
* An alternative perspective is that the German government should not have shut down power plants, cut its energy-intensive industries off from their main source of affordable energy, looked the other way when Nord Stream was destroyed, imposed sanctions on so many countries, contributed to instability in the Middle East by backing genocide and the war against Iran, built an economic model so reliant on mass immigration, subordinated itself excessively to the US, stolen sovereign assets, financed yet another war against Russia etc. Or BlackRock Merz is correct: Germans simply need to work harder and accept the transition from an industrial welfare state toward a model of military Keynesianism.
