Daylight Saving Time is one of the dumbest ideas ever inflicted on this great republic. Every year we act shocked that it's dark at 4:30. Pick permanent standard time and stop the madness.
No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter. Arkansans don’t want their kids going to school in the pitch dark, and I’ll always put Arkansas first.
Just like the past couple years the 2 biggest contract guys didn’t show up.

The Senate doesn’t need a summer vacation as much as the country needs the SAVE America Act.

I will vote to stay in session unless we have passed the SAVE America Act.
The American people expect us to deliver. They deserve secure elections.
As a New Jerseyan I agree with the Vice President 100%.
If only there was a way to stop this type of “software error” that allowed non citizens to vote in our elections.
I hope Senators @CoryBooker and @SenatorAndyKim will join us in voting to pass the SAVE America Act to ensure that only eligible American voters can participate in New Jersey elections, and all elections across the United States.
