This embodies the EXACT short-term thinking that landed Western countries in this debt trap to begin with.

How does an actor have a better epistemological understanding of AI than the people building it?
Ben Affleck says AI is simply matrix multiplication, linear algebra and floating point calculations, and however convincingly it sounds like a person, it has nothing to do with thought, humanity or feeling
“Nor do I believe, and I think it’s important to draw the distinction between what AI does, which is simply predict the next token or the next word in a sentence, then add that word on, run it back to the machine, do a lot of computation and pick the next word."
"That is a very different thing than sentience or thought. And I think we need to be really clear about that because it can be convincingly, in an illusory way, sound like thought or like a person."
"But let’s be real clear. This is matrix multiplication. This is linear algebra. These are floating point calculations. It has nothing to do with thought, humanity, or feeling.”

This would be the bloodiest conflict in human history with untold amounts of casualties but I still think Europe would win simply because they have the ability to manufacture and to an extent reverse engineer technology

.@Sonderling47: "I am hereby suspending from the Permanent Labor Certification Program some of the largest IT outsourcing firms in the world — Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, and Capgemini — and also, due to multiple active federal investigations, @USDOL is suspending Microsoft and Adobe from the program."
.@VP: "There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused this system more than Microsoft."
Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers in 2025 after certifying that it could not find qualified American employees — yet the company was approved for more than 6,000 H-1Bs and filed 3,682 PERM applications, including nearly 1,000 applications for the same positions as the laid off American workers.

Vice President JD Vance on the shipyard being built in Brownsville, Texas:
“The shipyard that's being built there will become the highest tech and one of the largest ship building facilities in the world...we haven't opened a new shipyard in this country in about 80 years...this is all about the President's agenda to reindustrialize the country, build more in the United States, but you're starting to see it pay off.”
Consider Vivek losing a wise tactical retreat. Vivek wants to be president, which is why I think it's important for him to lose the governor race. It effects more than just Ohio. It makes him closer to having an actual presidential run. That simply can't happen.
Ohio has a super majority Republican legislature. Amy won't have much power. Vivek would have free reign.
Vivek will lose and fade into obscurity. This is necessary and long term for the best.

🔴 Vivek Ramaswamy 41%

College isn't so much an education system as it is a rent-seeking cartel. They know they can charge an arm and a leg since it's sine qua non for high income employment. Breaking up the cartel should be a top prioirty.
Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. trib.al/NmmAzhf

“Billy, this is JD Vance. He’s younger and more right wing than any presidential candidate before him. He’s also an Ivy League educated veteran that’s a natural politician who uses explicitly pro white rhetoric. His downside? He married an Indian when he was an unlovable chud”

Why does the base always have to suck it up and vote for the Chamber of Commerce squish candidate when they win the primary but the country club "principles over party" class is relieved of the same obligation when the squish loses?

I think you'll see a trend globally where white fertility rates stabilize and beging to rise while the rest of the world crater. We may not have handled modernity well but it's clear we handle it better than anyone else.
Our message to corporate America is simple: We’re not going to let you lay off American workers so you can replace them with cheap foreign labor.

Next year, we're going to launch a spacecraft that will be given zero commands from Earth after it separates from the launch vehicle.
The spacecraft will attempt to complete all of its mission objectives with no human operator in the loop.
Today we’re introducing Autonomy-1, powered by our spacecraft intelligence model, Solo. 🧵

I will be voting for Republicans I don’t particularly like in November.
Many Republicans WANT to be in the minority, so they can pretend to oppose the bills they actually support as they pass.
I’m not providing them that cover.
The time for protest votes is the primaries.

Republicans have been the designated loser party since the 1930s, when FDR consolidated the power of the American managerial bureaucracy and permanently entrenched Democrats as the American ruling class. We have collected all the fringe marginal antisocial loser personalities who enjoy blackpilling. President Trump is slowly making Democrats into the designated loser party. Funny enough, the antisocial personalities among us are starting to troon out and drift over to the Democrats.
