Makes too much sense for the NFL to do it. Would seriously reduce travel costs. You can keep traditional rivalries with a college-like system of rotating games.

I think this is being SLIGHTLY misconstrued, this is not a Jimmy Butler situation, and he said this RIGHT after the game.
Listening to the whole thing, it sounds more like a "major changes need to be made, or else I'm out" situation.
The Marlins have been cheap garbage.
The Dolphins can't get out of their own way.
The Heat have been average and dramatic.
The Panthers are CHAMPIONS.
