David Raya made an INCREDIBLE penalty save, and just over two minutes later Bruno Guimaraes scored a screamer! 🍿

wrong. she's honouring the fact that one of the earliest records of a successful C-section was performed in Uganda in 1879. this is an homage to the brilliance of pre-colonial indigenous African medicinal practice, not a celebration of motherhood.
Miss Uganda wore a dress representing the 7 surgical layers of a C-section, honoring the strength and beauty of motherhood
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The designer of the "Layers of Life" gown, Keesha Abdallah, stated that the dress was inspired by "the extraordinary journey of bringing life into the world," rather than the 1879 Uganda C-section. people.com/miss-world-uga…

The First Slave ship that sailed to Africa to capture slaves was named the Jesus Ship, and all the enslavers were European Christians.

I just saw the video of the Garissa ICU during the blackout. 💔Watching life-saving machines literally shut down with ZERO backup power is haunting. How are human lives being treated as optional in 2026? Who is actually going to be held accountable for this?

The deleted footage of Albert Ojwang’s final moments at Central Police Station is not just about one blogger, one cell or one night. It is a mirror held up to a system that still believes torture can be hidden and truth can be edited out of existence. Albert did not die from colliding with a wall. Five pathologists unanimously confirmed head trauma, neck compression and multiple soft‑tissue injuries consistent with assault, while IPOA dismissed any suggestion of suicide and flagged interference with CCTV systems. This is not an accident. It is a choreography of impunity. When a police station becomes the most dangerous place for a citizen who dares to speak, Kenya’s constitutional promise is turned inside out. Central Police Station, which should be a symbol of order, becomes a crime scene. Each deleted frame, each missing second of footage, is an extra layer of violence against Albert’s family and against the public’s right to know. Albert’s killing is not an isolated file in a court registry, it belongs in the same archive as Baby Pendo, protestors shot for rejecting bad policy, and citizens abducted for asking hard questions. Until custody deaths trigger institutional pain, dismissals, prosecutions, personal liability and reparations, officers will continue to treat the cell as a no‑rules zone. Justice for Albert means more than convictions. It means designing a Republic where no officer can delete evidence faster than Kenyans can demand answers. The State bears a heightened duty of care over every person in custody. We must continue to push for victim‑centred justice, radical transparency in policing, and a future where stepping into a police station is not a gamble with your life.
Former Central Police Station OCS Samson Tallam was given ILLEGAL orders to torture Albert Ojwang' that led to his death. He took the orders, sourced for criminals who performed the task, he then tampered with the CCTV Footage by deleting the same. He did this acting on behalf of a higher KNOWN force. Later the CCTV footage would be retrieved and now being used in court against Tallam. He is literally carrying the cross when as the OCS Central Police he had no reason whatsoever to kill Ojwang'! The real culprits because they are holding powerful offices, they are comfortably enjoying the trappings of power and going on with their lives as Tallam face murder charges. His life is shattered and completely disintegrated from his family and normal life. This should serve as a lesson to the GOONS and police officers who are being ordered around illegally to commit crimes on behalf of their bosses. When the law will catch up with you, it is you who will suffer the consequences!

We need to re-run videos from 2007/2008 post election violence. We have forgotten what violence can do to a country. What is going on in this country if not stopped will burn it to the ground
