I don't know whether the rumors that James Talarico had a mental breakdown are true, but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. Just look at everything he has had to lie about just to run in Texas. Up until this election, Talarico seemed to deeply believe the progressive theology his home church still preaches. But it appears that his handlers have forced him to deny much of these core beliefs for the past year and a half to appease voters. That must take a real internal toll if he has any decency in him. You cannot live a lie that deep for that long without breaking. But then again, I haven't seen that affect any politician ever. So it just might be that he's mentally unstable, or it really was just a 12-day case of the flu. That should be pretty easy to prove. All he has to do is sign off on releasing some medical records. So, why hasn't he done that?
