The General Manager of the Mets should be a born & bred Mets fan because we have an impending sense of doom, where we can make changes before tragedy happens.

Borderline must win for the #Nets tonight, before playing the Cavs, Pacers, Celtics & Detroit. If they can get thru the first 7 games to be 2-5, they then have a string of winnable games starting on 11/14 against Charlotte, where they can catch up to be 9-9 before playing OKC.

This Kelly Clarkson, Brooklyn Bird situation feels like the reason Trump became President.

With Jalen Brown traded away from the Celtics, is there a better small forward/power forward combo in the NBA than Randle & Michael Porter Jr.? #NetsWorld

I know RBIs aren’t a metric that’s in favor, but this Pete Alonso just drives them in. Whether behind Soto or nobody, he still gets it done.

Pete Alonso is the first player to lead the AL and NL in RBI in separate seasons. Alonso led the AL this year and the NL in 2022.

I know the data nerds say Pete Alonso is not good with Wins Above Replacement etc…, but literally watching him WIN two games in 5 days for his team. Does the eye test and actual winning matter at all? #Mets #LGM

Pete Alonso ties the game with a 3-run shot! He's homered in 3 straight games 🐻‍❄️

Steve Cohen has got to want to behead David Stearns. I cant even imagine. He gave the keys to David. Let him drive uninterrupted- with a virtually unlimited payroll. And here we are. Year 3. And the fans are giving curtain calls to Pete Alonso the Oriole. You can't make it up.

Polanco + Semien + Robert Jr. = $64 million Alonso + Nimmo + Arraez = $62 million Benge Lindor Soto Alonso Arraez Bichette Nimmo Alvarez Ewing This lineup is sick and a 3rd grader could have put it together by simply not overthinking. #LGM #Mets

Did Cal Raleigh get off the juice, then every catcher in baseball is now on the juice? Seems as though every catcher in baseball can hit over 20 HRs. (Side Note: Makes Alvarez a little less valuable. #Mets #LGM)

There’s zero great free agents over the next 3 years. Stearns needs to sign Skubal, otherwise he should be fired. #Mets #LGM

Why didn’t Stearns sign Ryan O’Hearn? #Mets #LGM

The Spurs nailed the draft. The fact they they can throw Tarris Reed Jr. out there right away to do the dirty work to protect Wemby, and then stash Quaintance, who I believe will be the best player in the draft if healthy. Harper, Castle, Wemby, Quaintance is tough.

The story of the Nets the last two years will be around “coming up just short.” Last year they got the 8th pick, when they needed a Top 5. This year, the 6th pick, when they needed a Top 4. Even getting the 28th pick, came up short of drafting Cenac, Carr… #NetsWorld

Darius Acuff Jr. will be rookie of the year and the best player in this draft and it won’t be particularly close. #NBADraft #NBA #NetsWorld

Just in: Minnesota is sending Julius Randle and the No. 28 pick in the NBA Draft to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team trade that sends Nic Claxton to the Chicago Bulls, sources tell ESPN. The Timberwolves will acquire Brooklyn’s No. 33 pick for Randle and No. 28.

I’m not a Knicks fan, but I’ve never seen such a one-sided officiated game in favor of the Spurs. It should be investigated by the @TheAthletic because the NBA won’t do it. The Knicks winning will sweep it under the rug, but it should be looked into. #NBA #Finals
