Right now my Hermes setup is 4 agents with providers as follows:
1) @NousResearch portal (10 dollar a month plan)
2) local model (free, Qwen4.5-9B quant on an RTX4070)
3) open router (free models only but I put in 10 bucks to get more requests)
4) nvidia nim (free only)
bonus: burst up to @HotAisle where I can rent a MI300x for 1.99 an hour billed by the minute for intense stuff (and I had hermes build a skill for me to handle it).
Are there trade offs? Yes, but don't not do this because of $$$. The agents themselves run on a super old intel nuc I had laying around.

Hermes Agent tip of the day:
You can backup and transfer your agent cleanly and simply. Want to move it to a new VPS that is bigger? Take it to your new Mac Mini?
`hermes backup` - > creates a zip
install hermes on a new machine fresh
transfer the zip to that machine
then run `hermes import`
done :)

In every great company, there's a founder who's obsessed with solving their customers' problems, and @thesamparr is a great example of this.

Memory:
We have begun transitioning each of the systems in Hermes Agent to work through defined interfaces so that the core code is more maintainable, and more providers for everything can be supported.
We started with memory:
Now there is a plugin type that is for memory providers, pulled Honcho out of the core codebase, made it a plugin, and added 6 more systems that were waiting as PRs as new options.
Now you can access your favorite much easier, and if your favorite isn't built in, it is easy to create a new plugin that does!

look this just happened to hermes agent. if you're not aware, you now have 7 pluggable memory systems to choose from.
self-hosted or cloud. local sqlite or knowledge graphs. vector search or filesystem hierarchy. pick what fits your workflow and plug it in. run 'hermes update' then 'hermes memory setup' and you're live.
the memory system is now fully pluggable. anyone can build their own memory provider as a plugin. this is what shipping looks like. follow @Teknium for the fastest updates in hermes agent and open source AI.
Hermes Agent now supports @plastic_lab's Honcho, @mem0ai, @openvikingai, @Vectorizeio's Hindsight, @retaindb, and @ByteroverDev memory systems!

We have rehauled our memory system to be much more maintainable and pluggable, so anyone can make their own memory system to build on top of Hermes easily and cleanly with a special class of plugin!

Anthropic just launched Computer-Use-Agents on Claude Desktop, meaning it can now take control of your entire computer environment.
This is huge for businesses and enterprise, except it's limited by the fact that it requires a personal computer.
If you deploy it into a virtual machine on Orgo, you can now manage hundreds or thousands of your clients' Claude accounts, setting up their skills, capabilities, connectors, etc, all on their own machines in the cloud on Orgo.

- pick a niche you enjoy
- find ONE problem they hate
- outreach as a friend (not a salesman)
- understand their pain
- sell the solution
- get paid to learn how to build it
once i figured this out, i did 15K within the first 8 days of properly being in the space.
stop being a n8n expert with zero clients.
