The next Axie, is Axie xitter.cf/crypto__kermit/status/…

With Starter Axie "promotion" otw, wanted to also shed some light on NFT axies and part upgrading. There's a lot of considerations/opportunities around axie upgrading, related to the onchain data, the axie mixer (both 2d/3d), and finally how to distribute the crafting materials needed to actually upgrade your NFT axies. The mixer is the thing that turns the genetic code from code into a living/breathing axie. Ensuring that the part upgrade happens on-chain and is reflected seamlessly in the mixer is a key aspect to pulling off part upgrades from the art and smart contract side of things. Next comes the formulas around upgrading. • How the materials present in those formulas are earned. • How to distribute those materials between the different axie experiences. • How to model the math around the formulas so upgrading isn't too cheap or too expensive. Perhaps a system similar to gas that rises and falls and adjusts based on demand. These are some of the things we're thinking about. We are pushing to be able to deliver part upgrades this year and to make it worth the wait. It's probably the #1 aspect of the vision that attracted me back in 2018 when I discovered axie as a community member.
