🧡 Wear orange tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21, for Unity Day! At Methacton, we’re working together to make sure every student feels welcomed, known, included, supported, and connected. Join us in standing together against bullying and choosing kindness, acceptance, and belonging. Wear orange. Choose Belonging.

Last week, eight Methacton High School students joined peers from across Montgomery County for the kickoff of the 2026–2027 Dreaming Forward initiative, hosted by the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU). Dreaming Forward is a year-long student leadership and advocacy program designed to build inclusive, connected school cultures. Serving as "Dream Architects," our students are stepping into leadership roles—using their voices to inspire others, strengthen relationships, and turn actionable ideas into lasting community impact. We are proud of our Methacton student leaders for taking an active role in ensuring every student feels known, valued, and included. They are supported in this inspiring work by Methacton's Climate and Belonging Facilitator, Michaela Zelli, and Mr. Maida.

The Eagleville cafeteria transformed into a circus this week to celebrate National School Lunch Week! This year's theme is "Cafeteria Circus: Where Healthy Choices Take Center Stage." While our students dined on delicious and nutritious meals from Aramark, they got to enjoy the circus tent decorations—complete with a stuffed tiger! We want to give a huge shoutout to our food service teams who serve balanced meals with a smile every day! If you missed out on School Lunch Week, don't worry—we'll be celebrating our incredible food service teams again in May for School Lunch Heroes Day!

Big congratulations to Methacton High School’s very own AJ Maida on being recognized as a "Window Keeper"! Window Keeper: Civic Honors is a statewide initiative from PA Humanities that honors Pennsylvanians whose everyday actions help shape strong communities and sustain civic life through the power of the humanities. As a social studies teacher, Mr. Maida brings civics to life by showing Methacton High School students that democracy isn't just something to read about—it's something they actively shape. Whether he is guiding students to register their peers to vote, encouraging them to serve as local poll workers, facilitating thoughtful debate, or connecting them with communities beyond their own, he constantly pairs civic knowledge with hands-on experience. Thank you, Mr. Maida, for your dedication to preparing the next generation of informed, thoughtful, and engaged citizens! Over the last two weeks, Methacton's Superintendent Dr. David Zerbe hit the road for his annual Bus Stop Tour! Every fall, he loves getting out into the community to greet our amazing students and families bright and early. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to share a huge THANK YOU to our dedicated bus drivers, who work tirelessly to keep our kids safe every single morning. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

A little rain couldn't slow down Homecoming last Friday night! The stands were packed in all white for our White Out spirit celebration, while fantastic performances from the Warrior Marching Band and cheer squad kept the crowd cheering. At halftime, we honored our Golden Ticket winners—outstanding students who demonstrate exceptional character, academic achievement, and embody our district's 9 core values. Though the scoreboard didn't go our way, it was still an unforgettable night of Methacton pride, tradition, and community spirit!
