Did Konami kill YGO by releasing dozens of undertested cards into an environment they KNEW would precipitate FTKs & engine slop during a time of global financial crisis and tons of successful YGO alternatives?
...or did Joshua Schmidt kill it by pointing that out?
Who can say?

"designing their female characters for the male gaze" & she looks like fucking mega man 😭😭😭
i do believe that it's okay to criticize indie creators for obviously designing their female characters for the male gaze. I thought everyone agreed that pattern is rooted in misogyny.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
One of the indie creators who designed the female characters herself has publicly stated that she is a woman.

People tossing trash doesn't make much impact
But creating a whole product that's still usable and biodegradable. Creates a process that's more harmful for the environment.
It's one of those overall net negative things

To protect the paper straw from biodegrading on the way to your drink, it has to be wrapped in plastic anyway.
To protect it from your drink itself, it has to be chemically treated with things that hurt the environment.
To manufacture it requires more energy, which burns more petroleum in natural gas and more coal, which pollutes in a different place far away from the landfills.

Hey if this is about me, I had the organizer begged me to be part of the tournament after I said no multiple times and then a friend dm me asking me to please join as a favor to replace someone that had to be removed by the devs from the tournament the day before !! I explained this on stream when it happened and said I only joined as a favor and rearrange my schedule just to fit it in. Just wanted to clear things up Bcus I rather ppl know what was going on behind the scenes than have rumors circulating

people on this website dedicate their profiles to Kingdom Hearts but lack the literacy to realize that Riku would make this claim not because its true, but rather he is actively being groomed and gaslit by Ansem who tells him everything he wants to hear to fuel his savior complex

Happy Birthday, Eula!

I wasn't expecting one trip to Snezhnaya to improve your snowman-building skills quite this much.
More praise? Don't be absurd. I only said it because the thing happens to look a little like Paimon.
Still, if we're going to do this properly, it's missing something... Hmm. A scarf ought to do.
There. Now the resemblance to little Paimon is even stronger, wouldn't you say?
Thanks to BiBi for the fantastic artwork!

You can ask out a woman at 10 years old and she will hold a grudge against you for 20 more years and make a vent comic on it
