Copyright is the original PoW that ensured the inventor can claim ownership over and reap rewards from the invention.
As of today, apart from BSV, any other blockchain which makes use of Bitcoin technology or code are considered counterfit and illegal.
The DMCA “criminalizes production and dissemination of technology, devices, or services intended to circumvent measures that control access to copyrighted works.”.
Mining counterfeit chains does exactly this, it circuimvents copyright by not mining on the BSV chain.
