Yeah, now I’m in tears. @Wendellodom you are the most compassionate, caring, understanding and patient person I have ever met. You change lives. Mine included. The #CCNA was the bar that I had pass to prove to myself (and everyone else) that I could stand on my own and start a career in networking. For a kid who was told his whole young adult life that he would never make it, my mind can’t comprehend that I am taking over teaching the next generation of engineers to set and pass their own bar. This week was so incredibly overwhelming in such a positive way that I couldn’t process just how important it was to me. I couldn’t sleep at all last night on the plane. For all of you out there who were told they can’t make it, I ask you to please not take it personally. Often times things are said or done to others that stem from someone else’s dissatisfaction with their own journey. Sometimes it comes from ones closest to you. It hurts. But trust in yourself, you WILL make it. We are here to make sure of that. I guess they were wrong about me. Thank you, Wendell. -Jason Gooley #InvolveAndEvolve #MetalDevOps #KSS #GodfatherOfProgrammability #CiscoChampion #CiscoCert #Author @CiscoLive @CiscoPress @CiscoInsider @CiscoNetAcad @Cisco @WeAreCisco @LearningatCisco @MetalDevOps
