If you want to become someone who knows that whatever happens, they'll figure it out. The image of who you are needs to be concrete. I outline how to do this in the Self-Image Workbook Read here: open.substack.com/pub/sosams…

Train your mind to replay repetitions of past success so whenever you experience doubt you become reassured of all the ways you can succeed again.
-picture yourself achieving your goal -see the moment it happens -hear congratulations from someone you love -replay until you feel it -fall asleep as the person whose done this -wake up knowing how to achieve it

Can you remember the version of you who woke up excited to face life? They still exist. To experience them again you must practice this mind state daily. I created a visualisation to do this for you, get here: sosams.substack.com/p/self-i…

Assertiveness comes natural to those with a firm grip on their internal world. Your employees and clients trust depends on your self-reassurance. And that stems from within.

I wrote you an article which trains your subconscious to predict your future from your winning memories so you feel certain regardless of circumstance and wake up as the person who wins every single day. Read here: sosams.substack.com/p/how-to…

Discipline wedges the blade of self-betrayal deeper. You do not trust yourself, and resort to force, and obedience to whip yourself into shape. Reinforces you lack inner authority. Which creates resistance, and if you're ambitiously minded you'll revolt against it. You know this is true because you know what would change your life if you started doing it tomorrow morning and yet an invisible force paralyses you into procrastination. The solution is to seduce your mind with your goals, vision, future self and allow yourself to naturally move towards them. Then use willpower as nitrous boost here and then.

You can't relax without feeling guilty because your worth is tied to constant usefulness. Rest is incompetence. Step back is being forgotten. Understand these beliefs motivated you in the past which is why you struggle to let them go. But what would happen if you treated rest as a strength? How easily could you handle responsibility with a sharp, rested mind? Can you imagine how comforting it feels as you wake up knowing you will perform at your best?

Every time you compare how confident others seem, you shrink into their frame. You ask if you look careless, or if they look more qualified. These imagined comparisons create anxiety. Quit this habit. Rebuild your inner talk.

Mental movies are instructions for the subconscious mind. Knowing this, can you imagine the greatest version of you? Notice how ASSERTIVE they stand. Notice how they appear. Sense their confidence. They've overcome the things that keep you up at night. They've built what you've only imagined. They live life knowing exactly who they are. Allow the image to become bigger, brighter... Time will slow as your subconscious examines every detail. Now imagine how it would feel if this was you right now. Picture yourself in their shoes. Can you feel it? What would happen if you woke every morning doing this, and it's the last thing you saw as you fell asleep at night? You will begin to notice that all the things you want to be are already within. Few take the time to practice this. Do this daily and you begin to rewire your mind. Change your beliefs. Think, act, and become the person you've seen glimpses of throughout your life. Refuse to place your identity on being responsible for everyone else because you will unconsciously sabotage your own needs to maintain the image of being the strong one.

I released a visualisation that transforms you into the person who always focuses on the greatest possible outcome so you wake each morning with certainty, sleep deeper at night knowing you've won, and see challenge as as a game. Get here: sosams.substack.com/p/self-i…
"Visualizing exercise resulted in a strength increase by 35%." The imagination is powerful: Visualise sales; you'll close more. Visualise success; you'll be richer. Visualise public speaking; you'll be calmer. Focus your mind on winning and guess what happens?

The word "but" transforms any negative thought into a reminder of the truth of who you are. For example: "I'm scared to do this, but that excites me because I'm the type of person who thrives in uncertainty."

Ask yourself this every morning: What example do I want to set for my children?
The only parenting advice I find useful: You can't teach your kids anything. You just have to embody the things you want them to learn. Make a list of the traits and values you want your kids to have. Then make sure you're living by them every single day. That's really it.

your brain is the most neuroplastic in the first 60 mins after waking up. do what you will with that information.

Strong-minded, disciplined, successful people believe needing help is weak even if deep down they are conflicted. And it's entirely because the frame is wrong. You do not need help. Help suggests weakness. Help suggests you're broken. What you actually seek is guidance. Guidance to navigate your own internal world, in order to draw your certainty from this place. Never reliance. It's a journey of self-reclamation and that's powerful. Wouldn't you agree? What's more powerful than becoming stronger? Than gathering a bigger arsenal to rebuild self-trust within? Because once you work on that, you become unstoppable in all areas of life. Reject the idea that needing to learn is weakness. The actual weakness is to accept limitation, stay stuck and and call it strength.
