Tokyo 🇯🇵, we did it! Builder Nights Tokyo happened yesterday night!
Hundreds of advance traders, founders and ecosystem leaders came together to talk about where onchain is heading next.
AI agents are starting to transact. Stablecoins are becoming real payment infrastructure. Tokenized assets are moving beyond experiments. And wallets are evolving from something you simply use to sign transactions into infrastructure that can give people and increasingly agents identity, permissions and the ability to act onchain.
But Builder Nights has never just been about the technology.
It’s about getting the people actually building this future into the same room, sharing what’s working, challenging each other, and hopefully starting something new.

@MetaMask is the default browser and mobile wallet for Arc, giving builders a familiar wallet connection layer and users a trusted way into Arc’s stablecoin-native ecosystem.
This would give builders:

After a month of research, collaboration, and competition, the Four Pillars Research Challenge 2026 is coming to a close.
Now, it’s time to bring everyone together.
On October 1, we’re hosting the Four Pillars University Research Challenge 2026 Awards Ceremony & Offline Event.
The evening will feature awards and winning team presentations across all four research tracks, giving the winning researchers a chance to share their work and insights directly with the community.
✏️ @cantor8 track: Explore either the economic security risks of PoS blockchains holding large amounts of RWAs, or the legal and criminal risks associated with issuing stablecoins on public blockchains.
✏️ @MetaMask track: Reseasrch LLM-based security, formal verification, or AI-assisted smart contract security, with MetaMask’s Agent Wallet as a practical case study or real-world application.
✏️ @solana track: Dive into Solana’s core technologies and protocols, including topics such as Alpenglow, SIMDs, and Firedancer.
✏️ @Surfdeveloper track: Research any topic using Surf AI, with active use of the platform for data analysis, charts, tables, and other research materials.

A lot of people were asking, so I finally finished editing Episode 2!
This one covers the evolution of wallets, and honestly it's SO deep that I'm still learning from @cloudonshore every time I rewatch the footage.
Wallets started as simple key storage. Then they became browser extensions, the front door to everything onchain. Then smart accounts made them programmable.
But every version had one thing in common: they were designed for a human, sitting in front of a screen, clicking approve.
That assumption is changing FAST. Agents don't click buttons. And that's exactly why wallets need to evolve again.

One of the biggest highlights was Agent Wallet which is a approach from the @MetaMaskDev ecosystem that enables AI agents to securely interact with blockchain networks 🔗
Instead of exposing your private keys to an AI, Agent Wallet lets developers define permissions and policies, allowing agents to execute onchain actions: such as trading strategies, swaps and other workflows within predefined limits while the user retains control while this also unlocks a safer way to build autonomous onchain applications and algorithmic trading experiences powered by AI 🚀
