Mark it down -- Oct. 30, 2020, one of the most significant days in franchise history. The Wilpon era is over. The Mets have a new owner, Steve Cohen.

📣 We need your help. This is the post we hoped to never write, but today marks a huge turning point in The Strand's history. Our revenue has dropped nearly 70% compared to last year, and the loans and cash reserves that have kept us afloat these past months are depleted.

When there are talented people creating outstanding content, we should reward these folks appropriately. Not suppress them. MLB needs to come to terms with you on a license agreement now. That’s the proper course of action.

It appears I am no longer permitted to design Mets or baseball related fan art. MLB has decided this is an infringement and requested I delete all of my previous work. Even the work I have done for the MLB social media team must be taken down.

This is what happens when you allow an incompetent ownership group to meddle in baseball affairs and not allow qualified people to make decisions. No, Brodie was never qualified to be this team’s general manager.

Marcus Stroman reiterated, profusely, how much he loves the Mets organization and the way they handled safety protocols. If the love is mutual, Brodie Van Wagenen should try to keep his No. 2-3 starter by extending him a qualifying offer this offseason.
