Anglian helmet is currently on display @TheWorldofGlass in #StHelens. An unexpected treat.
First visit to @YorkshireMuseum on Tues. Top class #Roman & #medieval collections. My favourite item was the 8th Anglian Helmet, one of only three from that period to survive complete. Such a blend of display and practicality. It was found in #York in 1982.
Our next evening lecture takes place on Thursday 17th at the Quaker Meeting House, Liverpool doors open from 7pm for refreshments & chat☕️ 🍪 with the talk from @C_E_Bell @LivUni starting at 7.30.
