Said goodbye to my first school family today at @HortonsCreekES. That place and its people have changed me for the better. It is the most bittersweet feeling. I will miss everyone so much, but canāt wait to start my next adventure at @SouthGarnerHS!! Go Titans!!!

A5: During my 1st year, Iāve noticed inequities in students who are already in SpEd programs. Many think that they donāt deserve or need the same type of education as students in GenEd...when in reality they just need the right modifications. Thankful @spedhawks agrees!

After a few rough days during student teaching... I broke down one day after struggling to connect. I hadnāt learned out to ask for help at that point (still learning lol!). My CT finally told me worthwhile advice. Iām not here to āfixā students, Iām hear to teach and LOVE them!
