3/3. It’s entirely likely that someone else came along later and unwittlingly purchased the same camera The Blair Witch Project was filmed on and never had any idea. It’s probably sitting in some suburban dad’s closet right now. I think that’s wild!
2/3. While this is an extremely cool story about low-budget indie filmmaking, lost in that story is something I think is way cooler…
1/3. One of the infamous stories about the making of The Blair Witch Project is that one of the cameras used by the actors was bought at Circuit City and they returned it after filming for a refund to help lower their overall budget.

Don’t miss the moment on this week’s episode (31m50s) where @Merrigunz claims that he would let @ScareAlex and @necromandrea choose any version of an embarrassing mustache for him if @FacultyofHorror would do a guest spot on the pod. #facultyofhorror

Hey @LarsenOnFilm @filmspotting! Friendly neighborhood brain nerd here! Josh’s bit about musical nostalgia in ep 961 is spot on. We process music in the amygdala, which is the part of the brain that handles emotional memory. It’s why music is so powerful for those with dementia.
