Everyone is welcome to join us for our annual Open Day.
Our theme this year is “Optimising the Merino for the new reality”, with speakers presenting on accelerating returns from young sheep, genetics, immunity, joining ewe lambs and finishing wether lambs. More details to come.
Lambing rounds have wrapped up for the nucleus flock, with 680 lambs recorded at birth. The weather over lambing has been mostly very mild, apart from a few frosty starts ❄️, so the sheep (& operators!) have been pretty happy! facebook.com/share/r/1DFDEL5…
We’re keeping our foot down with wool scoring the ewe hoggets, midside sampling and fleece weighing the ram hoggets, and lamb marking starting next week. @Marbarrup @EBWebbMarbarrup @neXtgenAgri @korellup @SimonZacher1
