🔴⚪ THEY FORGOT WHAT HAPPENED LAST SEASON! Jamie Carragher’s message should make every Arsenal fan calm down — and every Arsenal hater think twice. Here are the facts 👇 1. ONE DEFEAT DOES NOT MEAN ARSENAL HAVE BEEN EXPOSED Brighton beat Arsenal 3–0 and deserved it. No excuses. But turning one bad performance into “the secret to beating Arsenal has been discovered” is football-media nonsense. Arsenal had won their first four league games before Brighton, conceding just ONE goal. 2. ARTETA HIMSELF CALLED IT A “BIG LESSON” Mikel Arteta didn't hide from the defeat. He admitted Brighton were better and said Arsenal were far below the standards required. That is exactly what you want from a manager after a bad performance: identify the problem, learn from it and move on. 3. PEOPLE HAVE SHORT MEMORIES Last season, Arsenal became Premier League champions with 85 points — seven points clear of Manchester City. They ended a 22-year wait for the title. And now, after ONE defeat in the title defence, people suddenly want us to believe Arsenal have fallen apart? Come on. 😂 4. THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME PEOPLE HAVE DECLARED ARSENAL FINISHED Every time Arsenal have suffered a major setback, the same story appears: ❌ “They've been figured out.” ❌ “They can't handle pressure.” ❌ “They will bottle it.” ❌ “The title race is over.” Then Arsenal respond. Football doesn't work on one result. 5. CARRAGHER'S POINT IS SIMPLE The expectation is that Arsenal can go through long unbeaten runs because they've already shown the consistency required. And he specifically said he doesn't see the Brighton defeat becoming Arsenal's downfall — he expects them to get back on track. 6. THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK ACTUALLY GIVES ARTETA TIME TO THINK Brighton exposed areas Arsenal need to improve. Good. That's what defeats are for. Arteta now has time to analyse the performance, identify what went wrong and make adjustments before the next league match. 🔴 7. DON'T CONFUSE A WARNING WITH A COLLAPSE Arsenal got beaten. Brighton were excellent. Arteta's team made mistakes. All of that can be true without Arsenal suddenly becoming a bad football team. The real test is what happens next. 🔴 8.
