My latest article (with the incredible @MercyGSosa) is published. The piece examines how President Trump's second term is impacting undocumented students and what California has done to fund campus and legal resources for these students. calmatters.org/education/hig…

I asked @joshuawoodsr about the increase in support now, here’s what he said: “Now all the realignment going on, chaos presents opportunities… this is the kind of opportunity we have to be ready for and we’ve laid out a plan to get Sac State to the PAC-12.”
Kinda hurts to see all this rallying support but it just being contingent on PAC12 is disappointing to the athletes, department, fans, etc… if this effort fails. Sac deserves a dominating football program, FCS or FBS. Why show up now to support the school is my question now.

Renderings for the new multi-use stadium have been reported by @CBSSacramento. The 25,000 seat stadium has been a big talking point as the @SAC12PAC12 pushes for @sacstate to join the FBS.

❌ A bill vetoed by the governor would have increased the number of classes part-time community college faculty can teach at a single campus. Part-timers often have to commute between multiple campuses to make ends meet. cal.news/3BzfOoJ 📝 @BrumerDelilah

NEW: Community colleges in California will NOT be allowed to offer bachelor's in nursing degrees, after Gov. Gavin Newsom vetoed two bills tonight that sought to do just that. @calstate, which issues thousands of these bachelor's, opposed the bills. calmatters.org/education/hig…
