The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim A game I keep coming back to. No matter what new releases. It’s such a comfort game. Even if some of the mechanics are a showing their age. Getting lost, exploring. @ElderScrolls you truly are magical.

One glanced up. Saw nothing. The dark was a kindness at this hour, and Coen had learned to sit inside it without spending it. The red plates on his arm caught a little of the sky. He turned the wrist until they did not. Chain moved under them, a small sound.

Chimneys stood up like broken teeth. Somewhere a dog barked once and thought better of it. Coen rested his forearms on his knee and watched the lane below. Two of Brencis’s soldiers passed under a dead lantern, speaking low, the way men speak when they are bored and armed.

The Roofs of Svartrau He had been on the ridge of the roof long enough for the wet to find the seams in his armour. Svartrau lay under him in black tiles and pale timber, the houses shouldered together the way sheep do in weather. #TheBloodOfTheDawnwalker

Laslea * It used to be a bustling village, filled with the sound of pickaxes echoing off the hillsides - but not anymore. Following the edict banning possession of silver, the nearby mines have been boarded shut. #TheBloodOfTheDawnwalker

My Review for: The Blood of the Dawnwalker. (9.5/10) I absolutely loved this game. — I just crawled out of Vale Sangora with blood still on my tongue and I am not okay. In the best possible way. Rebel Wolves’ debut is not “another Witcher with fangs.” It is a filthy, aching, tightly wound dark-fantasy RPG that treats time like a scarce drug and Coen like a man you actually want to be. Human by day. Monster after dark. Thirty days to save a family the valley is already chewing on. That hook is simple. The execution is ravenous. Coen is the whole damn reason this works. He starts as a silver-mine peasant with a dying mother, a distant father, and a private hunger to leave the valley that never quite gets to live. Then Brencis puts teeth in him and the transformation fails in the most interesting way possible. Dawnwalker. Soft in sunlight. Feral when the sun drops. You feel it in the way he moves, the way dialogue shifts, the way a conversation at dusk can turn into a feeding if you let the hunger bottom out. He is not a blank vessel. He is stubborn, tender, ashamed, and increasingly deliciously dangerous. I want more of him. I want the centuries the post-credits tease. I want the version of Coen who has lived long enough to stop apologizing for what his mouth does. — The writing is the real bite. Jakub Szamałek and the narrative team understand that vampire stories are not about capes. They are about appetite, obligation, and the sick intimacy of needing someone else’s pulse to stay yourself. Side quests are not padding. They are little moral infections. You spend a night segment on a village problem and the valley remembers. You refuse a feed and Coen stays human a little longer. You drink and the world opens like a vein. Even the romances have teeth: Anca’s warmth against the plague, Crake’s guarded mouth, Lacra offering her wrist after the mandrake and turning the night into something wet and reckless. None of it feels like a checklist. It feels like bodies colliding under a clock. — The open world is smaller than the usual AAA swamp and that is a compliment. Vale Sangora is a Carpathian fever dream: silver towns, black bogs, vampire courts perched on human cattle, folklore that actually hurts. Day and night are not a lighting filter. They are two games sharing one map. Swords and witchcraft while the sun is up. Claws, wall-running, feeding, the whole filthy nocturnal toolkit when it isn’t. The 30-day structure should have been annoying. Instead it makes every choice taste like blood. You cannot do everything. So you choose what you are willing to starve. — Combat is brutal in both skins. Directional steel by day. Something closer to animal by night. The systems are about something. Most open-world RPGs give you a thousand icons. This one gives you a pulse and a deadline. — Rebel Wolves earned this. Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, Daniel Sadowski, Bartłomiej Gaweł, Szamałek — the pack. First game. Original IP. Bandai Namco trusted them enough to let the thing be bleak, dark, and structurally mean. That is rare. You can feel the Witcher pedigree in the quest craft and the refusal to treat NPCs like quest dispensers. You can also feel them trying to outgrow it: time as currency, duality as identity, a protagonist who is allowed to be hungry and still love his people. —- 9.5/10 because it is not frictionless, and because I want the sequel to go even dirtier and even braver. Not because it failed. Because it already has its fangs in me. — Coen, I’m coming back for you. Rebel Wolves: do not make us wait a decade. Vale Sangora still has blood left. #TheBloodOfTheDawnwalker
