Finally, we were planning our sixth big in-person reading at AWP this year. But without Kelly, that's just not going to happen in a satisfactory way. Huge apologies to those planning to come. If you’re reading at AWP, consider posting details to help you all find each other.

It’s now confirmed that our Summer/Fall edition will be our last. Menacing Hedge is closing its doors on all submissions effective of today. Having lost our guiding light, and the heart of the magazine, Kelly, that this is our farewell edition.

But the real praise is Kelly’s. Her vision for this humble journal was to provide a platform for underrepresented voices, unique talent, and strong voices. And she did it humbly and always with a smile. We miss you, Kelly. And thanks for giving us room in your heart.
