I saw on GTS City that some games have begun to pop up that are created using generative A.I I like playing GTS games. They give me inspiration for renders, some of them have compelling and sometimes heart wrenching stories, and seeing artists, coders, etc putting out a game in a niche they adore is always nice to see. However. I am very much Anti-A.I Now, I'm not as viciously against A.I as some people are. I see it's benefits as a tool to help people. If you've ever used Photoshop and noticed a part of an art piece you made has an error, and you used "Content-Aware fill" to fix it, you have used A.I However. I cannot stand and do not support A.I being the creative director. There was one game on GTS City, or at least someone talking about their concept for a game, where they used A.I to generate the code. He complained how GTS games have been "Going Backward", and belittled other peoples works. I thought it hilarious. Every game he criticises is a game made by a human, who had to spend months coding the game, creating the assets for the game, creating the story, etc etc and a LOT of these games are solo endeavours and passion projects, where one person creates all or most of the game themselves. And he claimed HE was making a better game than all of them, despite the fact it was the A.I making the game, not him. Not a single creative bone going into the soulless project. If you want to support REAL games made by REAL creators, who put their heart and soul into every pixel of their game, below I am listing some games you can check out if you haven't already.
