“What do you get from loss? You get awareness of other people’s loss.” @StephenAtHome making me cry as always with his abject humanity on a day when it feels there isn’t much in the world.
You said "what punishment of gods are not gifts. Do you really believe that?" @andersoncooper, choking back tears, asks Stephen Colbert, as they discuss grief.
"Yes," replies the comedian. "It's a gift to exist and with existence comes suffering. There's no escaping that."
It’s amazing how hearing a concert band playing at Avenue Rd & Bloor can make you feel nostalgic for the camaraderie of high school band. Music and memory at it’s best. However no thanks to being a teen again, been there done that, hells no.

My dad bought some Jägermeister and then proceeded to tell me that the old stop sign he has in the garage would make a great coffee table, apparently widowhood can turn you into a 70-yr-old frat boy, brah! – at Pickering, Ontario

I just finished reading @modernloss and I cannot recommend it enough to my fellow griefers. The stories of grief and loss that fill its pages are real, raw and relatable. It will make you laugh, cry and maybe like me, you too may find comfort in all 355 pages of it. #grief #loss
Picked up @ModernLoss at my local @torontolibrary the other day. Been wanting to read it forever.
Ouff, the first chapter gives me all the feels.

Thanks for this great @thegriefcast episode @ladycariad and @RosaHoskins_ , it was all very relatable and beautiful. xx #grief #loss #death #deathpositive #mentalhealth
I was so honoured to be a part of @ladycariad's @thegriefcast, my ep is out today. Here I am talking about Dad's tendency to spectacularly lose his temper, it would be over quickly & never spoken of again. He was never passive-aggressive, it's one of the things I miss the most.
Jen smashing a cake in @deadtome is everything and sooooo relatable to this griefster. #grief #loss #death #deathpositive – at Toronto, Ontario

Loving BC-based Happy Veggie Worlds' faux meats, I got them at the Almost Perfect Grocery Outlet. I made Garlic ”Butter Shrimp” Spinach Pasta and Sesame ”Beef” with green peppers and rice (the faux beef was already flavoured). Both were delish! #whatveganseat #veganto
Got my hands on some @eggcitables at Essence of Life Organics (in Kensington Market). So far I've made delish scramble "eggs" and an omelette stuffed with Yves veggie ham, @FollowYourHeart Earth Island cheddar cheese, and spinach. #veganegg #veganomelette #whatveganseat #veganto
