Tried a retrieval pyramid for first time with Year 9 history class.. all boys.. they loved the points and timed aspect as it made it slightly competitive.. used cold calling to give points and provide feedback. Worked well as a lesson starter @KateJones_teach

📚Introduced Uber Reads today! To develop a reading culture, we decided to model it to our students first. Staff order a book which is delivered right to their desk (with a complimentary 🍫)! @Team_English1

Who uses @Scholastic #LiteracyPro? What are your top tips for middle school students?
Loving our back to school #BookFlix display. There’s something for everyone. Definitely lots of interest in “Cooking with Poo” 🤣 my personal favourite for middle school is “His Name was Walter” @EmilyRodda
Using Keynote to prep the staff book of the week series. Have chosen to display them as flashy gifs @AppleEDU and to post in @MicrosoftTeams. Also sending out a weekly PL recommendation too

Hey teachers! Check this out!! You can create your own custom #Wordle games for students, with a unique URL for them to play! This would be great to use with vocabulary words or words within a unit of study (as long as they are 5 letters) 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 🔗 mywordle.me

Running PL tomorrow. Showcasing the ease of using @WALKTHRUs_5 and the @JohnCattEd In Action series. Some books still on order and postal delayed but have a good range to start from. Thanks to @JPPapineau for the collab and the loan of extra copies!!
