Hi all - yes I really am back on my OG account. My beyondthepaid account has been hacked and I'm currently unable to access it, but was able to get into my old one after years of being locked out. Go figure. Anyway, it's really me.

What I love about the Katie Zachariah situation is she talked alot of shit on Fox over the years.
It's easy to do when you're amongst friends.
When she came out from under the circus tent to the real world, that tough talk shit lasted but a few minutes.
She was SHOOK.
Getcho goofass outta here.
All that fealty to Trump, and he told her to hit the bricks quick.

Google's about to ship a PMAX option we've been asking for for years. π―
You'll be able to cap how much of a campaign's budget goes to partner networks, and set that cap as low as 0%.
PMAX bundles a lot of inventory together, and some of it is display and search-partner placements that spend your budget without doing much. For a long time you had no real say over that inventory.
The announcement has two parts: Channel Prioritization lets you tier channels as high or low priority, which only changes anything when the campaign is budget constrained. High-priority channels spend first at your target, the rest get the leftovers. That part's a nuance for most accounts.
Budget Allocation is the piece that matters. You can hold a low-priority channel to a percentage of daily budget, and 0% means it's off. That's a dial on the partner networks, not just a switch.
One caveat worth saying out loud: everything defaults to high priority, so nothing changes until you go set it yourself. Google isn't doing this for you.
Additionally, for Performance Max itself, you cannot disable specific Google channels like Gmail, Discover, or YouTube.
Google is pitching this as a pre-holiday control. If you're going to cap PMAX's partner networks, set it now, before Q4 spend ramps, not in the middle of peak when every dollar is working hardest.
If you run PMAX on a Shopify store and you've watched spend leak into placements you'd never pick, this is the setting to test first. Cap the partner networks, keep budget on the intent that converts, and see what your PMAX looks like without the padding.
Hoping we'll start to see the Channels sliders rolled out more widely soon too!

%$&*!!! whoa.
This reads that Meta is looking to grant itself the rights to scrape websites across the open web - and train Meta's AI - once a company uses Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or other Meta services after October 30, 2026. So every biz.
Read that again. Outrageous. 1/5

While CPI inflation up to 3.7%, inflation is much higher in many crucial categories:
1. Fuel Oil Inflation: +74.2%
2. Gasoline Inflation: +34.2%
3. Airline Fares Inflation: +22.4%
4. Car Repair Inflation: +5.8%
5. Hospital Services Inflation: +5.6%
6. Utility Gas Inflation: +5.0%
7. Electricity Inflation: +4.4%
8. Fruits and Vegetables Inflation: +3.7%
This marks the 67th-straight month with US CPI inflation above the Fed's 2% target.
After 5+ years of persistent inflation, the top 1% of US households are now worth ~14 TIMES the bottom 50%.
Affordability is still getting worse.
I started to make a video about Channel Prioritization and Budget Allocation in #GoogleAds and it went awry. Halfway through you can watch my brain break in real time.
The good news is that this is either a) the worst video I have ever made or b) the best video I have ever made. Enjoy.
