In a few weeks, I am doing one of the coolest things I've ever done: donating a portion of my liver!
I am posting for two reasons:
1. To share about living donation, and how there's a TON of support for donors
2. To ask for a bit more support where it isn't covered

We are lucky to have a LOT of family support but as you may know if you follow me, my dad's cancer journey has been very non-linear. He's stable, but some of our family members are already maxxed out and not able to help the way they would have preferred.
So we have a MealTrain for anyone who is local (Union County, NJ) with some options to help from afar as well - things like DoorDash gift cards would really help!

Anyone have a brilliant idea for places that might need lots of pretty-good C batteries?
My dad gets new ones *every day* from his medical supply company. So my parents wind up with 60 used-but-still-pretty-good C batteries each month. And no other uses for them.
Any ideas?
