This was several of our Iowa Western students' first live opera experiences! @OperaOmaha has guaranteed that it will be a difficult performance for these students to top for quite some time! Thank you for providing this opportunity to them at no cost! #FigaroOmaha

I've always said it's truly a tragedy that Mozart died at 35-years-old. Just think how much Mozart music we have now, and then think how much more we could have if he'd lived another 30 years. 😨 @OperaOmaha would have their work cut out for them with that much more Mozart! 😂😂

I do love the set for Act 2. It's simple but extremely effective, and the furniture pieces provide some elegant accents of color! #FigaroOmaha

It's delightful to sit on a side balcony where I can see the orchestra and conductor in the pit. But, as a conductor, one thing that I think would drive me nuts is that bright red digital clock facing the conductor that tracks the seconds! Is that necessary? 😱 #FigaroOmaha

Up through Act 1, this performance has showcased incredibly tasteful and appropriate treatment of Mozart's music in recitative, aria, and orchestral realization. Excellent representation of the Viennese Classical style! Bravi tutti! #FigaroOmaha

Much better performance of La Vendetta than I gave on my senior voice recital ten years ago. I'm not sure if I had heard it since then! What a fun blast from the past. :) #FigaroOmaha

Gotta break my Twitter hiatus/non-tweeting streak because I'm at the final dress rehearsal for @OperaOmaha's Marriage of Figaro professional performance for free through their #TweetSeats program. So I've gotta tweet about the production throughout. :) #FigaroOmaha

Is Mariah lip-singing to her actual recorded version of this song? She didn't even re-record it for the parade? That's... a choice... #MacysParade #Snarksgiving

What has Paula Abdul done in the last ten years to be on a float? Her judging tenure on American Idol ended in 2009... Oh well. I guess it's good to appeal to folks of all age brackets. #Snarksgiving

Rockettes sure do know how to kick high. But I guess you can't teach an old group new tricks... 😬 #MacysParade #Snarksgiving

Al Roker isn't at the parade because he's recovering from a medical procedure. Is this even going to be worth watching without his crazy antics? 😭 Best wishes to Al for a swift recovery! #MacysParade

.@snarksgiving CHANGED HIS HANDLE TO SNARKSGIVING?!?! A GENIUS. #MacysParade #Snarksgiving2022

Macy's Parade opens with Lea Michele singing Don't Rain On My Parade... So she's reprising her Glee season 1 character? @snarksgiving @SinginEmm

I think I really don't use Twitter because I don't want to take the time to cultivate my feed. Same reason I don't use TikTok. I get on TikTok, and everything sucks. There's nothing funny or impactful to me there.
