It’s publication day!! Thank you to so many of you who have cheered this project on and already told me of the copies you have bought for the girls and young women you know.
My ultimate hope is that this book is a catalyst for hope to rise in young people. #HopeRising365
This side of heaven we’ll know sorrow,
and the reality is,
this is me today,
but it could be you tomorrow.
We are church,
family,
broken humanity,
yet together finding sanctuary.
Loved working on this film with @ThinkTwiceInfo
It’s here! Our sanctuary resources and film have been such a labour of love and we’re proud to present them and mark our 10th anniversary!

I’ve got to be honest, when I was first asked to make a film about CPR I thought ‘CPR 🤨, well that’s not going to be particularly interesting.’
And then I heard Jack’s story and I realised how wrong I was. What a powerful message. Please take two mins to watch.

Telling young people they can some off social media if it’s hurting them is like telling them that they can remove their leg if their shoes are rubbing. It’s just not received as a realistic option. So how do we help young people navigate life online?

When you call your mum to see if she wants some fish and chips only to look down and see that you’re ringing @martinsaunders. So pleased that he didn’t answer because I always say ‘Hello darling!’ when my mum answers the phone. That. Would. Have. Been. Awkward.
Well this evening I’m well and truly at the ‘ok but it still sucks’ part of the journey. Persevering and hoping I make it to the ‘Wow’... it’s going to be a long night!
😭😭 My heart is full. Always hoped that this book would encourage and challenge girls and young women. A dream come true. @spckpublishing
It’s been really exciting over the past few months hearing from so many different people about how Hope Rising 365 is helping them. If you know of anyone that needs encouraging in 2020, the book has a thought for every day of the year. Here’s a snippet... youtu.be/ZgAJh7S95QE

Crept downstairs at 5am to work on my session for @Youthscape’s National Youth Ministry Weekend. Something quite lovely about working before the sun is up with a candle and a tea. #nymw19

Replacing “Why is this happening to me?” with “What is this teaching me?” is a game changer.
