After everything I’ve watched unfold today, I want to make one thing crystal clear: I love @RealCandaceO . I wholeheartedly support her. Not because I believe she’s incapable of being wrong. Not because I think she should never be questioned. And certainly not because I’m willing to abandon my own discernment. I support her because, time and time again, she has encouraged people to think for themselves, question the narrative, and follow the evidence—even when it’s uncomfortable. My support has never come with a condition that says, “Candace can do no wrong.” My condition is much simpler: Don’t knowingly sit behind that microphone and intentionally lie to or deceive your audience. If she makes a mistake, I can forgive a mistake. If she gets something wrong, I can accept a correction. If she changes her position because new information comes to light, I can respect that. But if I ever become convinced that she knowingly deceived the people who trusted her? Then we have a completely different conversation. Until then, I’m standing right here. I don’t need to tear her down because other people are having a falling-out. I don’t need to abandon her because the internet is demanding that I pick a side. And I damn sure don’t need anyone to tell me who I’m allowed to support. My loyalty is to truth first. But as long as I believe Candace is sincerely pursuing that truth, she has my support. ❤️
