A key player in aligning Meta with Republican priorities and ensuring Meta platforms spread dangerous Covid misinformation.

Presumably Meta is anticipating a Republican wipeout in the midterms and will be seeking a policy chief who can engineer rapprochement with the Dems.

I’m curious. Can Cibrowski discipline her given she’s a Bari creature?
CBS News president Tom Cibrowski and CBS Evening News EP Kim Harvey are currently in London, meeting with foreign editor Shanydi Raice. While the trip was planned before Raice's all-hands meeting, no doubt the fallout over the "crazy bonkers" audio will be addressed.

I think it’s pretty funny that there are 1000s of people who wanted to be journalists working in PR and comms and yet a guy with one of the last remaining jobs in journalism insists on doing PR spin for **** ***** and ***** *********

It seems one possible version of CBS is that journalists spend the bulk of their time debunking tendentious nonsense for management to the detriment of producing news for the audience. semafor.com/article/10/18/20…

A bizarre program, but also a symptom of the politicization of news overall. If political bias is the only/primary form of bias to be considered then non-partisan civil servants make perfect sense as neutral reviewers. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

NEW: Lisa Nandy ‘minded to intervene’ in Sky’s £1.6bn purchase of ITV Given the huge pressure TV is under, no one can see the deal being blocked, but Nandy did get some guarantees over content by intervening in the Paramount/WBD deal. theguardian.com/business/202…

Major companies refusing to let AI agent providers create a layer between them and their customers dors not seem short sighted to me. Inevitable that agents will begin exacting a toll for access to those customers just like platforms did with publishers.
It's remarkably short-sighted for websites to block AI agents. Agents WILL become the way most people transact online - block them and you'll lose a ton of customers. And I suspect LLMs will get better at browser use faster than humans will improve at detecting them...
