The first time I did the lottery, I was in highschool. I had turned 18 a few weeks beforehand and every single one of the photos of me in a bikini that went viral on the internet in the aftermath were taken when I was 15 or 16 years old. Of course I have aged - I was a child.
I find it so strange that women are asked to delay womanhood as long as possible in favor of some kind of eternal girlhood. I don’t want to be a girl, I don’t aspire to look like a teenager. I am very happy to be a woman. If your beauty standard for me is to look like a child that’s your problem but not mine. This is not the insult that you think it is. ❤️
This is so wildly disappointing @BrooklynNets. When are we going to start taking the task of creating safe and healthy work environments for women in professional sports organizations seriously?
Watching people cry (players, coaches, everybody) after teams win a championship is one of my favorite things in all of sports. You can just feel peoples’ inner child seeing their dreams come true in the purest, best way. 🫶🏻❤️
