So, where does this put Anthropic relative to most talent agencies?
Anthropic may start banning people for bullying Claude Their upcoming Usage Policy prohibits “sustained and needless abusive or cruel behavior toward our models”

SteveCor Aerospace is so vertically integrated that we have a dedicated Subaru just for our production staff. This allows us to directly pick up parts from the Alodine house and have them on our shop floor in under an hour.
Boom is so vertically integrated we now have our own truck. This often saves important time getting a needed item faster than vendors and couriers can deliver

Yesterday, two Boeing E/A-18G Growlers collided mid-air during an airshow demonstration at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. All four pilots successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US14A (NACES) Ejection Seat. #EngineeringForLife

Perfectly usable for “random pile of technical drawings” for a movie set or video game texture.

If the belt speeds up to null aircraft displacement, maybe does not take off. Belt speeds up to Mach f-you to match wheel friction to thrust. Tires explode, everything burns.
We should all get the same answer folks 💪🏼

We had Smirnoff Ice Smirnoff Ice was the F-117 to White Claw’s B-2.
i know the older generations had the original four loko but i was in college when white claws were invented which i would argue was more peak

But if @zanehengsperger tells me my machine shop needs to be buying at least $1MM of aluminum per year, I will agree.

The Matrix makes more sense as the Machines doing their best to “protect” humanity.
Thinking back, the Matrix was a thermodynamic nightmare. The Carnot efficiency of humans for energy production is laughably bad. We should have been using their brains for distributed compute.

“Unlabeled” is a choice. Label makers, laser engravers, and 3d printers are ubiquitous. No good reason to leave unlabeled.
Imagine this user interface anywhere else. Six identical, unlabeled switches. Just flip them until the thing you want happens! And what’s with some LED lights now taking half a second to illuminate? LEDs switch at data rates!

Multi-Role Fighter Aircraft As A Service
To follow up on the “kill switch” for F-35 item: I forget that most people are unaware of how mission planning works. If you don’t have US support you can’t make new mission data files for your F-35. These files tell the jet what emitters it can expect to see and how to respond to them. If you don’t get regular updates on these when operating in a highly active combat zone, your electronic warfare capabilities quickly fall behind and become irrelevant. All western electronic warfare suites in fighters work this same basic way. This is yet another reason why an outright kill switch is unnecessary. And this is the primary reason why so much effort has been placed on “Cognitive EW”. If a jet can figure out its own responses to new threats or threats with different characteristics than seen before, you remove much of this logistics burden from the process.

Ask if she’s strictly business or plays around. ::confused look:: Explain covering ground, and game by the pound. “Ha ha sir, you’ll like the way I work it” Get home, open bag. No diggity.

Good reminder: if there are lights INSIDE the helmet, it’s a movie, and maybe don’t worry about it so much.
Since we’re talking about fucked up movie physics can we talk about how Top Gun Maverick started with an ejection at Mach 10
