Special Executive Magistrate is just a fancy name for Delhi Police officer Ritu Raj.
He kept them behind bars for a week by acting as a special judge under new BNSS.
He does a lot of Shistachar meetings what BJP leaders.
So basically Delhi police detained them and one of their officers acted as a judge to keep them in custody.
Classic Kangaroo courts system.

दलेर मेहंदी और उत्तराखंड के कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल के बीच हुए विवाद के बाद अब दलेर मेहंदी के छोटे भाई हरजीत मेहंदी ने अपने बड़े भाई के समर्थन में बयान दिया है।
हरजीत मेहंदी ने कहा कि “हम संगीत की कसम खाकर कहते हैं कि मेरे बड़े भाई दलेर मेहंदी शराब नहीं पीते।” उन्होंने दलेर मेहंदी पर लगाए गए आरोपों को गलत बताते हुए कहा कि यह उनके परिवार के लिए बेहद दुखद है।

उत्तराखंड में दलेर मेहंदी के कार्यक्रम को लेकर उठे विवाद के बीच कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने कहा कि दलेर मेहंदी एक बड़े नाम और बड़े गायक हैं, इसी वजह से उन्हें कार्यक्रम में आमंत्रित किया गया था। उन्हें लगा कि दलेर मेहंदी लाइव गाने के बजाय लिप-सिंक कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि स्थानीय प्रतिनिधि और मेला कमेटी का सदस्य होने के नाते उन पर लोगों की ओर से यह दबाव था कि वे इस बारे में सवाल करें।
उन्होंने एंकर से कहा कि लोग दलेर मेहंदी को सुनने आए हैं, उनकी टीम को नहीं। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि ऐसी स्थिति में दलेर मेहंदी को खुद गाना चाहिए। बाद में एंकर ने उन्हें बताया कि सभी संगीतकारों को निर्देश दिया गया था कि वे केवल हाथों से एक्शन करते रहें और गाना चलता रहे।
