Despite ongoing operational and financial pressures caused by FMD, Meatco has paid producers in full for cattle delivered to the Windhoek Abattoir between 29 August and 11 September 2026.

Meatco CFO Hornest Madzivadondo says the company's stronger financial performance has been driven by higher sales, direct engagement with markets and increased revenue generation.
