Penalties in the NFL are up dramatically. It makes an incredible, riveting product very frustrating to watch. Why are there so many penalties being thrown? Theories: - Is it so the NFL can extend games to boost TV ratings with a new TV deal coming up? - Gives bettors more time to live bet on games? - It's an election year. More opportunities to run political ads & more commercials in general? It's not like the flags are legit. They're ticky tack, bad calls. #NFL
