All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.

i truly hate that there is a very clear reason as to why that is the case.
Zendaya says there's one attractive quality about her husband that makes her jealous and impressed
Zendaya: "Something I am always impressed with Tom about, which I feel like I want to inherit more of, is he's very...
Tom Holland: "Awesome? legendary? talented?"
Zendaya: Yeah, so many great words...but you really stand on your big stickler for respect and kindness."
"Not to say that I'm not doing that, but you just make sure that is in the front."
"And then if that line is crossed, I think sometimes he's better at drawing boundaries and making things clear. And I'm a little bit more like, okay, guys, it's all right, everything's all right."
"You're good at being like, no, no, this is, we're not doing this. You're good at setting the boundaries when they need to be set. Really clearly, really strong."
"So I like that you have, you know what you feel is right for yourself, and you do it, and for others you're very protective in that way.
If racist white people think that I’m going to respond or do the research for them, they thought the fuck wrong! 🫳🏾 #Blocked

It's infuriating that this wasn't the normalized approach for like 5-10 yrs.
Just forced to watch the press/pundits pretend to take incoherent "policies" seriously, even auto-paraphrasing Trump remarks as if we dont already know he's clueless and winging it. ENOUGH. FINALLY.
Abdul El-Sayed: “We are being actively bullied by the dumbest people in the room. Donald Trump is an idiot. He has one genius which is getting attention. Because his dad never gave him enough, because he was a nepo baby, he craved attention and used the bullying tactics to get it. But the man is an idiot. Just a fool”
Sometimes being “performative” is necessary. Some of y’all don’t pay attention unless something is loud or flashy. Politics used to be boring, but y’all don’t pay attention to boring. Now it takes big, theatrical moments just to get people to notice.
Finally, someone’s saying it.
.@AbdulElSayed: We are being actively bullied by the dumbest people in the room. Donald Trump is an idiot. Whatever you think about him, he has the genius of getting attention, which is because, his dad never gave him enough. The man is a fool. Part of the responsibility we have is not to let them use their power to bend the rest of us to their will

Four women who could ALL sing lead, yet knew exactly how to blend their voices. That’s what made En Vogue so special. The vocal arrangements, the call-and-response, the harmonies, the choreography. They weren’t just singing together. They knew how to make four distinct voices sound like one. THAT is musicianship.
When En Vogue hit SNL in March 1992, they dismantled the myth that girl groups couldn’t sing full-throttle live in heels. Trading leads across Cindy, Dawn, Terry, and Maxine, their dynamic control remained untouchable—from Dawn’s raspy rock bite to Terry’s operatic belts. When they converged on the hook, their four-part harmonies locked in with their blend and zero backing tape. The album dropped 3 days later, proving to themselves and to the world just how Funky, these Divas really are.
Now what did we learn…?
