At this point should have kept McDermott, only reason for hope was Leonard bringing this new, aggressive D but it’s even worse than last year. I guess everyone was right, Beane is the one constant here, just an horrendous evaluator of defensive players.

Without knowing official stats, it feels like no team gives up more 3rd downs than Buffalo does. It’s every 3rd down, doesn’t matter the distance. How can they be this bad at such an important part of the game.

Yea pretty easy to see why Gardner Johnson gets released by so many teams. He’s awful, like one of the worst safeties they’ve had.
Awful FA signing WR drops an easy pass, next play start QB gets driven down hard and grabs at his shoulder. Now most likely go into halftime losing or tied. But let’s just keep drafting useless defensive backups instead of investing in the only asset they have.

I really do despise Beane at this point, drafting Allen isn’t enough to get a pass on being abysmal for the rest of the roster. Putting this lack of talent & impact players on both sides of the ball around Allen year after year is maddening. Literally it’s Allen & Cook, that’s it

There are so many young WRs making plays today that Buffalo passed on in the draft for either people not on the team anymore (not in the league either) or dudes that play 10 snaps a game as a 4th rotational DE. Just a few ex Boston, Cooper Jr, Parker Washington earlier.
