The “International Community” must be so proud…

So: naming the crime is the offense, the one who names it is the guilty, and the one who commits it stands above scrutiny: what a combination of stupidity and viciousness. Victims are honored by making no more victims not by granting perpetrators impunity. And @MarkRuffalo rocks!
The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect.  Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life. This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.  Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.

I’m proud to announce that we’ve just built another school in Gaza that will be open for 500 more students at the start of the new school year in September. Our schools are 100% free. We also provide books, supplies, and uniforms, as well as psychological and nutritional support.
While the world sees rubble, we see the foundation of another school. Every classroom we build is an investment in hope for the children of Gaza. Help us keep building. Become a monthly donor and stand with Gaza’s children. 💛

"No, on Gaza. Break it all apart. Along with the soldiers who got abducted." More cold, hard evidence of the Israeli government's stated intention to commit genocide in Gaza while killing hundreds of its own citizens under the Hannibal Directive on Oct 7
October 7, 2023, early morning, Israel's police command center: "(Strike) Gaza. Break it all apart. Along with the soldiers who got abducted." In the first hours of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, while conversing with Israel's Police Chief Kobi Shabtai, another senior officer calls to implement the Hannibal Directive, and destroy Gaza along with the Israeli captives. Minister Itamar Ben Gvir later arrives and orders to stop filming the meeting. Aired on Channel 12 on February 12, 2026

This isn’t a toy. It’s a cluster bomb. Israel is dropping cluster bombs shaped like small footballs across South Lebanon — designed to attract children before they tear them apart. This is a war crime. And yet, not a peep from the complicit international community, of course.

Hajeh Ne’meh is 100 years old. She survived Israel’s massacre in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr yesterday. She says she had only stepped out to buy bread. When she returned, her home was shattered and the neighbourhood had turned into a massacre scene. “What can I do?” she asks through tears. “These children used to play in the road beside me. I used to give them sweets…” “How can this be allowed? Children being carried away like that?” “Dear God… oh dear God…” Hajeh Ne’meh says it was unbearable watching the small bodies of the children being carried away after the strike.
