I've had to limit my heat exposure this week but I couldn't miss out on the @OwassoGathering & I'm so glad I didn't! The parade was a fantastic end to an incredible event & I had the opportunity to speak with incredible people about the upcoming election, state questions, & more.

I wouldn't be where I am today without the many incredible educators that have poured into me, challenged me, uplifted me, and believed in me. I don't take it lightly that educators who spent decades serving children just like me say they stand behind me as a legislator.

I spent over a decade as a member of my local teachers' union. In my first campaign my union siblings were some of my strongest supporters and volunteers. That's why this endorsement from @OK_AFL_CIO means so much. Unions are founded and run by the workers and I stand with them

As I've knocked doors this week, I've heard from many constituents that they're disappointed in Tuesday's voter turnout. More than 80% of the registered voters in District 72 chose not to participate in Tuesday's elections. Make a plan to vote November 3rd.

Check your sample ballot at okvoterportal.okelections.go… because EVERY registered voter will be able to vote on State Questions 844 & 846. There are also runoffs, nonpartisan races, and city issues up to a vote for many in #HD72.

We are less than 3 months from Election Day & despite the heat, I'm still hitting the pavement to talk to voters across the district about their concerns and needs. I truly appreciate volunteers like Kyle taking time out of their day to help me reach the people of District 72.

Unfortunately, tomorrow's town hall has been cancelled due circumstances beyond our control. We are working diligently to try to reschedule the event to another day. In the event we are unable to reschedule, please join us at our town hall in September.

Next week's topic is technology and AI. We've already seen legislation that attempts to limit technology and put guardrails around AI. @jacobrosecrants and I need your input to help us know which questions to ask, which amendments to propose, and make informed votes!

Before too much love is lost this session, here are some reasons why I might ask some of my colleagues to #bemine . As we enter the 2nd week, committees are underway and bills are being voted on, tell us which bills you #love and which bills you'd like us to #breakup with!
