We are currently in the ludicrous and dangerous position of patient-facing staff being unable to string a sentence together - this is not just struggling to understand the accent, these are people entirely unable to speak English. That is NOT acceptable. I get complaint after complaint from constituents, yet the NHS refuses to accept the problem. It's all over the country. Patients feel unable to speak out for fear of being labelled a racist by hospital staff. Especially women who are often being treated in a very private way by foreign men who do not even speak our language. It's wrong, and we should have the courage to say so. If you can't speak English, you should not be working in a hospital. In fact, you shouldn't be living in England.

Keir Starmer is resigning as an MP - there will be a by-election in his Holborn and St Pancras constituency. A central area of London so entirely transformed by mass immigration it simply cannot be won by a party promising to deport millions, or even perceived to being on the right of politics.
