Yesterday I scrubbed to a live donor kidney transplant with Dr. Stuart Geffner that was broadcasted live to high school students @LibertySciCtr. My #SurgicalEducation 💙 was so happy to hear them ask live questions and get step-by-step explanations of the procedure. Very cool✨

Simulation helps develop & practice surgical skills, but access is limited by availability of materials & sessions. Using a portable, low-cost simulator & online videos, more trainees can be reached & practice can happen for hours anytime!
So happy to see our experience planning & implementing 2️⃣ intensive surgical simulation weeks for 2 cohorts of medical students in Rwanda published 🇷🇼! I have learned so much from this fantastic partnership between @ughe_org and @HarvardPGSSC.
