A fun patriotic paint scheme this week. Halfway through the season and we’re still moving strong.

These are the stories that need to be shared constantly within this industry. There are a ton of turf managers from all levels who go above & beyond for their teams/programs. Kudos @TCUFIELDCREW & @ajhealy18 nytimes.com/athletic/7611319…

TCU’s new frog skin end zones took 30 hours to make — and started as a helmet sketch (Gift Article)

TCU's assistant turf manager first talked about sketching the school’s script “Frogs” on helmets but then expanded thoughts to the end zone

30 ish man hours on the endzones alone and countless bottles of water and Gatorade drank, a huge kudos to the crew. We had this plan last year but never came to fruition. So stoked to have it completed for tomorrow. A lot of work but oh so worth it. Give em hell 🐸

Battle of Buckhead 2026. It has been a long few weeks welcoming our wildcats back to campus. So thankful for @ZachGoetzTurf and the crew. It would not be possible without them.

That time of year. Verticut, Unirake, Topdress, Deeptine, fert. We have tried to pull back our ryegrass rates to promote better spring bermuda green up, which we made it through spring sports and practices with 8lbs/1000sqft. Using sapphire and revolver to remove it. I think we finally have hit our sweet spot. @ZachGoetzTurf has got things movin, I can’t thank him enough for his help.

So grateful for this experience to open up our new campus quad as a gathering place for our community. So many hands involved and many late evenings, but having a place for people to enjoy on natural grass speaks for itself.

Zach has been a massive addition to our crew and has taken on a ton of responsibility with our athletic fields. We are very lucky to have him. Bring on the Bermuda.

Field testing/data collection helps drive industry-wide improvements & innovation. Available metrics allow field managers to make informed decisions. The @NFL & @NFLPA also rely on it for continued development of health, safety & performance standards. #SuperBowlLX #FromTheField
