Call me crazy, but I'm tempted to be so bold as to say that Ospreay and Omega have had the best series of matches where each match took place in a different country. But I'd love to hear about other series that are in the running!

I love AEW but my biggest complaint has been that in PPV world title matches, they don't often present them as contests between the two best wrestlers in the world. There's often heavy handed "story," interference, etc. Hopefully presentations like tonight's will become the norm

Ospreay/Omega was fucking amazing. They worked the perfect story. Kenny played the evil final boss to the top spot to perfection and Ospreay took one insane bump after another. Electric crowd. One of the best AEW matches of all time. Exactly what it should have been.

Ospreay and Omega's matches are so good because everyone expects agility/athleticism focused matches but instead they beat the shit out of each other and seem like hard hitting badasses.

I don't think either side "needs" the other. MSG is a legendary building and I think if you're AEW and you could book it, you should do it once just for the symbolism. But long-term, I think there's something to be said for starting your own traditions.
