I remember when some of these projects were just conversations. Today, they’re real investments, real jobs & real opportunities for families in Jackson.
We’ve worked hard to get here. Now we keep building.
I’m proud of our progress, but I’m even more excited about what’s ahead.
Every once in a while, it’s worth looking back at how far Jackson has come.
Since 2019, we’ve invested in streets and neighborhoods, built new facilities, welcomed new jobs and investment, strengthened public safety and modernized city government.
I’ve been called a lot of things, but Dad is my favorite.
Being a dad has taught me more than I could ever teach my kids, and I’m grateful every day that Madelynn and Charlie made me one.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. It’s the best job in the world.

We are thrilled today to have our very own Nick Darnell home at The Ned for a meet and greet and to speak to local and regional talent about Model & Talent Expo Powered by Nouvelle Productions. Today, I was honored to present Nick with a Key to the City.
Grateful tonight for the volunteers who stepped up to serve our unhoused neighbors. When weather turns dangerous, saving lives is not optional.

A new year doesn’t fix everything, but it reminds us we’re in this together. Jackson is people showing up, doing the work, and pulling in the same direction. Here’s to steady progress and moving forward together.

The past few months, City Council’s been visiting @CityofJacksonTN departments, seeing the work firsthand & understanding the needs for the future.
Today we met with our Groundskeeping team, who maintain every city property & park.

Cleanspark is hiring in Jackson, TN — just 45 minutes from Memphis, TN. Cleanspark acquired this 60MW Bitcoin mining site in Jackson through its acquisition of GRIID’s assets in 2024 (GRIID announced acquisition of this site in February 2024, which is their first expansion from East TN to West TN about 6 hours away)
Jackson’s Mayor @MayorConger has been a Bitcoin advocate for years, even proposing to pay city employees in BTC! His pro-Bitcoin stance likely made Jackson an attractive location for miners.
All signs point to Cleanspark’s 60MW site in Jackson, TN becoming a reality sooner rather than later, which = More hash coming online.
