RIP #MichaelKeating 'the funny one' and my instant favourite in Blake's 7 when I was a kid. Rewatching as an adult you see his ingenious performance bringing an edge of reality to things, his cleverness, and often being the conscience of the gang.

It's been a joy to explore #Blakes7 on Maximum Power with so many amazing contributors and listeners.
To GIF is better than to recieve and I've loved building up our gallery, so here's a trip from A-D, with rather fitting music from Jarvis C & Co.
And it's au revoir from us, as we finally get to talk our way through four years of sequins and trauma, with our spiciest takes on the entire run of Blake's 7. All your most urgent questions will be answered in the Whole Damn Show Retrospective.

Great episode, glad to hear there are some more still to come. 😊
For me, when Avon smiles, it’s because Servalan has appeared & he shoots her before being shot himself. That’s the great thing about the ending, it’s ambiguity, you can put your own thoughts into it

Avon thinks he's found the inspiration for this week's #Blakes7 @MaximumPowerPod ... will the panel just want to be free too?

Meant to say, I really enjoyed this very balanced analysis of a tricky episode. I’ll admit, I absolutely love Power (it’s a romp!), but I totally understand why so many people have issues with it. It's a shame Chris Boucher didn’t have more time to fine-tune the script. (Thread)
This week on Maximum Power, we discuss episode 2 of Series D, Power! Join us as we ask important questions like: Is this sexist, chauvinistic or misogynist — or an exciting mixture of all three?

Nice work, team. By the way, the Radio Times did indeed spoil the shock twist in Traitor…

Paul Darrow plays his hero Elvis on stage in Alan Bleasdale's play Are You Lonesome Tonight? A great night in the theatre.

Great to see #Blakes7 finally available to buy digitally. Certainly looks like it’s the HD remasters, but sadly not with optional updated VFX. Lots of the key extra material from the blu-ray included too! Essential if you don’t have a blu ray player, I’d say.
