Please, please all of you read this, It's just a short, common sense post that raises awareness of my illness.
We’ve been blown away by the response to my interview with @BBCSport & @KatieFalkingham , thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to read and engage with it ❤️ millions of views across multiple platforms really is immense.
We have since written to @andyburnham , calling on the @UKLabour government to fund research into this horrific illness. I know there’s so much more we could say, but with limited capacity, we’ve tried to focus on the lack of funding, resources in the NHS and how much it’s actually costing the government.
As you can see on the slides, it has been drastically underfunded compared to other illnesses and it is currently costing the UK Government far more than it would cost to fund research. ME is most often a post-viral illness. Therefore, since the start of the Covid pandemic, we’ve seen cases increase drastically and they will continue to increase. We need funding into research urgently. With estimates of people with ME being around 1.35 million, this is a lot of lives destroyed.
I’ve had thousands of messages on multiple platforms since sharing my story so please bear with me ❤️
Thanks to @ThereForME_UK and @wecrunchme for the stats.
If Rio, Gakpo, Isak and Barcola keep up their current form, then the convo around Wirtz becomes, not 'is he any good', but 'is he good enough - even at his best - to dislodge any of them?'
This guy is a really, really funny writer. If you're looking for something Halloweenish, it's free this week. Good to support indie authors.
It was only 6 weeks ago we were saying we had too many left wingers and Rio could never ever adapt to the right hand side...
Serious 'changing of the guard' vibes here.
Virg with his worst 45 mins in a red shirt, while Rio, Trey and Jacqet bossing it..
This is what ME is like for most of us. I've been sick for 14 years, and there has been ZERO change either in treatment, awareness, or our societal attitude towards the disease.
I honestly believe that apart from the homeless, and those with addictions, there is no larger group of people invisible to Western Society than ME patients. We are utterly on our own.

As a self-confessed Ghostbusters superfan, I've avoided watching Ghostbusters: Afterlife (mostly because of Paul Rudd)
Finally watched it tonght with my 8-year-old and... it's fantastic!
They even use the music from Ghostbusters - not the theme, but the little motifs and piano background bits.
Can't wait to watch Frozen Empire!

This is huge.
Time for all British nationals who served in the IDF to be investigated over possible involvement in war crimes.
🚨NEW: After a months-long investigation, we can reveal that a British national who posed in front of a burning school in Gaza fought for Israel and may have participated in war crimes.

9 - Florian Wirtz's nine chances created from open play against Brentford is the most by a player in a Premier League game since Sadio Mané v Burnley in January 2021 (9) and the most by a player in an away game since Samir Nasri v Spurs in August 2011 (10).
Progress.
The decision to take Sally Rooney's books off the shelves is appalling, for so many reasons.
It's a clamp down on free speech, an attack on art, and a massive own-goal for the 'establishment.'
Legend.

“Henderson is a rat”
He was part of something special for us for many years… we didn’t want him at a point and didn’t want him back either! He moved on what’s he supposed to do not celebrate smacking in a free kick! Some of you are far too sensitive #LFC
When Liverpool got a rad, there was only player who we were going to bring off.
A luxury player. A passenger. And sadly, so far, a flop.
