#NOW: The developers behind a 63-unit affordable housing project on Ashmont St. in Portland are presenting their plans to the city planning board. @WGME first reported on this back in July when those who live there told us they are unhappy with the project, specifically with parking, as the street is already filled with parked cars. The developers only plan to make room for 10 spots but argue many who will live in the units may not have a car. – at Portland, ME

The fire was contained pretty quickly. It melted the side of the house next to it on the left. The home being built to the right also had part of their wall burnt.

We will keep tabs on this case but in the meantime Doucette will remain held without bail. He could request a Harnish Bail Hearing - where a judge determines if the prosecutors have enough evidence to keep him held without bail.
